Seminario Vescovile della Diocesi di Treviso

The Seminario Vescovile di Treviso preserves two important nuclei of Indigenous American collections. The best-known and most significant consists of more than 5,000 archaeological artifacts from Peru, Bolivia, Argentina, and Chile, gathered by Monsignor Angelo Campagner between 1948 and 1970, to which are added some Ecuadorian materials collected by his brother Antonio Campagner. The second nucleus consists instead of ethnographic artifacts collected by Don Dino Grossa in the Orinoco basin (Venezuela) beginning in the 1950s.
